The Arts

The arts are an important part of the Conyers-Rockdale community. All year long you can enjoy quality plays produced by our local high schools and the Conyers Rockdale Council for The Arts. The New Depot Players offer quality community theater opprtunities for budding or accomplished thespians.

The Council for the Arts also sponsors Pre-School Pops, the ArtsSmart Summer Camp, and the Missoula Children's Theater each year. The county has a number of dance schools and the Conyers Kids program for performing arts.

Organizations like the Covington/Conyers Choral Guild provide concerts throughout the year while local festivals like the annual Cherry Blossom Festival offer the opportunity to see local talent perform live on stage.

Rockdale County also features a fine arts gallery in Olde Town Conyers fetauring nationally known artists like long time Conyers resident D. Morgan.
