Georgia International Horse ParkGeorgia International Horse Park 
One of Atlanta’s greatest legacies of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games is the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers. The Horse Park hosts champion athletes from around the world when they come to compete in equestrian, mountain biking and modern pentathlon events, and equestrian events for the Paralympic Games.
Monastery of the Holy SpiritMonastery of the Holy Spirit
The Monastery of the Holy Spirit is located in Conyers, Georgia, 35 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia. The monastery is a community of 45 monks spanning several generations, who live, work and pray at the Abbey.
Randy Poynter LakeRandy Poynter Lake at Black Shoals
Located in historic north Rockdale, off of Black Shoals Road, Randy Poynter Lake is a 650-acre impoundment designed to provide water for the county’s drinking water needs. A treatment plant is located down stream, on Gees Mill Road, which has enabled Rockdale to eliminate its need to purchase water from neighboring counties.
Haralson Bridge Covered BridgeCovered Wooden Bridge
Haralson Mill Road, formerly an unimproved dirt road on the north side of Rockdale County, is now home to a covered wooden bridge. The bridge is immediately north of the Haralson Mill historic district, which is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The setting is comprised of the Haralson Mill House, a general store, the old mill site and blacksmith shop.

Located on 12 acres beside Randy Poynter Lake The Walk of Heroes Veterans War Memorial is developed around a ‘visual and interactive’ concept to cultivate a public understanding of the sacrifices made by veterans on the battlefields during and since the 20th century and by their families whose sacrifices helped to protect and maintain the freedom enjoyed by Americans today.
